3 days  |  2 nights
Friday 8th to Sunday 10th May 2026

Because men don't always share...and that's okay.
Sometimes we just need the right space to start.

We get it: most of us men were never taught to talk about feelings. We carry tensions, anxieties, doubts - often alone. But it doesn't have to be that way. Connection doesn't need to be forced. Honesty doesn't need to be heavy.

We're delighted to be teaming up with men's Wellbeing Protagonist
Matt Young for a wild weekend where looking after yourself becomes a given, not a luxury. Join us under open skies, doing something real together: walking, canoeing, talking, getting hands-on with nature, sharing stories around the fire, watching the stars or just sitting in silence. This weekend is about reconnecting and refreshing the inner you.

"I've spent months searching for the right place to run a men's weekend; somewhere that genuinely helps you switch off from the noise and switch on to what matters. And I've found it in The Bioasis. It is the perfect space to help you breathe again." - Matt Young

When you feel safe, seen and supported, sharing becomes easier; laughter, quiet reflection, conversation, silence... it all becomes possible when you're away from the screens and stress of the everyday.

We hope you will join us. You'll be very welcome.
Matt and The Bioasis team.

A few words from Matt...

Hi, I'm Matt - come join me and the team at The Bioasis for a fully-immersive weekend, away from the noise of life and screens, to enjoy the time and space to simply be.

My work is about helping men find purpose, real purpose, not the kind you put on a CV. And in the stunning settings of The Bioasis, I'm sure you'll find the clarity, stillness and perspective to look at your life honestly.

Success looks different for everyone but in a busy world, how often do we stop long enough to ask ourselves whether the life we've built is the one we REALLY wanted?

This weekend is for men who feel like something is missing.

  • Maybe your career is strong, but your fulfillment isn't.

  • Maybe you've hit your goals but lost your direction.

  • Maybe you're tired of being tired all the time.

  • Maybe you need a space to talk, but don't know how or to who.

If any of that rings true, this weekend is an opportunity to calibrate.

We've planned a weekend that mixes escapism, connection and adventure; canoeing, catapults, conservation work, campfire conversations and proper time outdoors - the good kind, the kind with no phones, where shoulders finally drop.

Bring a mate you've been meaning to spend time with or come solo and meet other men who get it; men who want more from life than stress, autopilot and the next deadline.

I'll be running a workshop to help you reconnect with yourself and get clear on what truly matters. I'll also guide some campfire conversations, the real, honest ones men rarely get to have.

Expect lower stress, better focus, deeper sleep, and that rare but powerful feeling of perspective that only comes from being out in nature with good men around you.

This is a weekend of brotherhood, challenge, reflection, and adventure. A reset button for men who are outwardly successful but inwardly drifting.

Want to join us? You'd be very welcome.

Matt Young.

What to expect...

Life doesn't pause. Work demands, family responsibilities and unspoken expectations all pile up. We were designed for more than simply surviving. We were built to grow, connect and thrive. The first step into a different you is doing something different.

This is an invitation to step out of your comfort zone and to embrace vulnerability. It's time to reclaim the parts of yourself that have been buried in the rush of everyday life.

It's a reset.
Three days away from noise and routine. A chance to breathe deeply, move your body and be present. All without your phone buzzing in your pocket or your calendar dictating every hour.

It's connection.

This won't be the small talk you're used to. This is real conversations with other men. Men who've faced challenges, doubts and setbacks. Men who, like you, are just as committed to leveling up their lives. In the Bioasis, you don't have to pretend - nature welcomes you as you are.  You get to be honest, respected and heard.

It's growth.

Guided workshops, adventures, shared experience, and hands-on conservation work all designed to build clarity, confidence and resilience. Our hope is you will walk away with a clearer sense of who you are and the confidence to create a purposeful life ahead.

It's permission.

Permission to put yourself first. Permission to rediscover purpose. Permission to remember who you are outside of others expectations. Permission to share. Permission to be vulnerable.

You don't need a crisis to deserve a break. You just need the courage to step away...and come back stronger.

The Programme

Active, reflective and hands-on

Embark on a three day, two night retreat to basecamp, set deep in the heart of the Bioasis. The programme includes a mixture of adventure, nature conneciton, hands-on conservation work, bonding, digital detox and reflection:

  • Outdoor Adventure: Having left our vehicles on day one, our only form of transport will be our own two feet to explore ancient forests and wildflower meadows, as well as canoes to explore the river, salt marshes and estuary.

  • Nature immersion and hands-on conservation work: Nature is proven to de-stress and encourage diversity of thought. We’ll bring nature to life with the chance to use specialist biodiversity monitoring equipment, learning to track animals and contribute to on-going conservation efforts including the removal of invasive plant species. Through this hands-on, practical conservation work, we’ll work together as a team to have a positive effect on the environment, reconnecting with the natural world in the process.

  • Walkie-Talkies: Walking and nature: two things well documented to inspire communication, innovation and a different way of thinking. We'll have time for walks in some of the UK's most inspiring landscapes, helping inspire creativity and resilience, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving.

  • A chance to reflect: There will be plenty of time to reflect on our personal journeys. We'll embark in morning meditation in the woodland, grounding us to planet earth and putting the world in perspective. At night, the support and sounding board of a group of fellow men, lead by Matt, will no doubt come shining through as we swap stories and experience around the firepit.
