partners & Suppliers

We call it our mycelium network - our partners and suppliers form an integral part of our approach to sustainability. Choosing ethical trade partners, sustainable operations and, where possible, local supply chains, means we keep food miles, carbon and our impact as low as possible. Well, and also as high as possible, depending on what we're talking about.

Which is nice, because that's one of our core values:

High Impact, low Impact.

Till the coast is clear

Removing plastic from rivers & coastlines

Through our partnership with Till The Coast is Clear we actively contribute to removing plastic waste from rivers, coastlines and woodlands. TTCIC’s dedication to environmental clean-ups aligns with our commitment to restoring natural spaces. We also collaborate with their sibling initiative, Force For Nature, to support our tree-planting projects.

Grace & Green

Partnering with B-Corp certified Grace & Green, we provide sustainable and biodegradable sanitary products free of charge to our staff and clients, ensuring comfort without environmental compromise. This collaboration aligns with our commitment to reducing plastic waste, supporting ethical supply chains and promoting environmentally friendly alternatives in all aspects of life at The Bioasis.

Community forest trust

Creating resilient habitats for wildlife

In collaboration with the Community Forest Trust, we are planting over 3,000 trees as part of our long-term commitment to reforestation and ecosystem restoration. These efforts aim to improve biodiversity, enhance carbon sequestration and create resilient habitats for local wildlife.

Riverford Organic

Sustainable agriculture & ethical food production

Our primary food supplier, Riverford Organic, shares our dedication to sustainable agriculture and ethical food production. Their organic practices reduce environmental impact, support biodiversity and provide us with high-quality produce. This partnership ensures that every meal served at The Bioasis reflects our values of environmental responsibility and supports local, sustainable farming systems.

Serious Tissues

Seriously good toilet paper

We've done our research and think Serious Tissues is as good as it gets when it comes to cleaning up after 'doing our business'. Made in the UK from recycled UK-sourced materials, with 100% green energy and no bleach. There is also no plastic packaging. So when it comes to putting the used tissues in our uber-cool composting toilets, we feel pretty smug that we're not polluting the environment.

West Country Rivers Trust

Supporting the health of our Rivers

Through citizen science water quality testing, we provide data to the West Country Rivers Trust database, contributing to ongoing research and monitoring of local waterways. This partnership enables us to support broader conservation efforts, ensuring rivers and aquatic ecosystems remain healthy and resilient. Our involvement highlights the importance of local action feeding into regional and national environmental strategies.
