3 days  |  2 nights
A retreat for business owners and entrepreneurs. Helping you zoom out and get perspective on life, business and the bigger picture.

Running a business can be a stressful and sometimes lonely affair. Our Firestarter retreats are designed to bring busy entrepreneurs and business owners together and provide the time, space and a network of peers to help you recharge and rejuvenate your business ambitions.

Set in a private 5000 acre estate, complete with rugged coastline, ancient woodland, wildflower meadows and sparkling rivers, we'll take you on a journey of discovery, taking part in adventurous activities, hands-on conservation work and ecological insight.  This stunning landscape, and our wild guides and facilitators, enable you to escape the day-to-day noise, helping you find clarity and time to reflect on what's really important.

The Programme

Active, reflective and hands-on

Embark on a three day, two night retreat at Basecamp, set deep in the heart of the Bioasis. The programme includes a mixture of activities and reflection:

  • Outdoor Adventure: Having left our vehicles on day one, our only form of transport will be our own two feet to explore the forests and meadows of The Bioasis, as well as canoes to explore the river, salt marshes and estuary.

  • Nature immersion and hands-on conservation work: Nature is proven to de-stress and encourage diversity of thought. We’ll bring nature to life through the use of specialist biodiversity monitoring equipment, learning to track animals and contribute to on-going conservation efforts including plastic clean-ups and/or removal of invasive plant species. Through this hands-on, practical conservation work, we’ll work together as a team to have a positive effect on the environment, reconnecting with the natural world in the process.

  • Walkie-Talkies: Walking and nature: two things well documented to inspire communication, innovation and a different way of thinking. We'll have time for walks in some of the UK's most inspiring landscapes, helping inspire creativity and resilience, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving.

  • A chance to reflect: There will be plenty of time to reflect on our personal and professional journeys. We'll embark in morning meditation in the woodland, grounding us to planet earth and putting the world in perspective. At night, the support and sounding board of a group of fellow entrepreneurs and business owners will no doubt come shining through as we swap stories and experience around the firepit.

"Your entire team are truly exceptional - incredibly inspiring, passionate and insightful. Each of them have left me with lots to ponder over life, business, my impact, raising kids, mindset, aspirations and a whole heap of other things my tired brain needs to reflect on!" â€‹Sugita Harichandran, Puddle Jumpers Nursery
