Firestarter
A Complete Disconnect | Support Network | Clarity & Focus | Capacity Innovation
3 days | 2 nights
A retreat for business owners and entrepreneurs. Helping you zoom out, prevent burnout and get perspective on life, business and the bigger picture.
Running a business can be a stressful and lonely affair. The pressure can be unrelenting.
When was the last time you invested in you?
Our Firestarter retreats are designed to bring busy entrepreneurs and business owners together, providing the time, space and a sounding board to help you recharge and rejuvenate - both you and your business ambitions.
Set in a 5000 acre private estate, complete with rugged coastline, ancient woodland, wildflower meadows and sparkling rivers, we'll take you on a journey of discovery, taking part in adventurous activities, hands-on conservation work and ecological insight. This stunning landscape, and our wild guides and facilitators, enable a complete disconnect from the day-to-day noise, helping you find clarity and time to reflect on what's really important. We hope you can join us.

Is Firestarter for you?
If you're looking to reconnect with your inner-vision, need some time to take stock and reflect on your journey to date, and/or you're looking for clarity, inspiration or a sounding board for the journey ahead, then you'll find it all on a Firestarter Retreat.

Gifting yourself the time, space and surroundings to see the bigger picture may seem like a luxury, but it's actually an investment in you and your business. A quiet mind and true perspective are invaluable.
Firestarter is a chance to recharge and nourish your body and business mind.

Sharing this journey with fellow founders and business owners, people who understand the highs and lows of running a business, means you'll come away with fresh ideas and an on-going network of peers for you to turn to in the months and years ahead.

"You created a very special weekend, in a very magical place. What an absolute treat to have such an experienced and interesting team, animals, education and experiences in such a beautiful special place, alongside other business leaders..."

Forget everything you think you know about wild camping.
The Bioasis experience is not about endurance, survival or bushtucker trials. Any fool can be uncomfortable.

Born out of decades of adventures and expeditions across the globe, we've poured all our experience into creating something totally unique: off-grid, solar powered basecamps that blend just the right amount of adventure, with great infrastructure, good food, a stunning setting and everything you'd expect with regard to hygiene and comfort.

The Programme
Active, reflective and hands-on
Embark on a three day, two night retreat at Basecamp, set deep in the heart of the Bioasis. The programme includes a mixture of activities, reflection and simply time to walk and talk:

-
Outdoor Adventure: Having left our vehicles on day one, our only form of transport will be our own two feet to explore the forests and meadows of The Bioasis, as well as canoes to explore the river, salt marshes and estuary.

-
Nature immersion and hands-on conservation work: Nature is proven to de-stress and encourage diversity of thought. We’ll bring nature to life through the use of specialist biodiversity monitoring equipment, learning to track animals and contribute to on-going conservation efforts including plastic clean-ups and/or removal of invasive plant species. Through this hands-on, practical conservation work, we’ll work together as a team to have a positive effect on the environment, reconnecting with the natural world in the process.

-
Walkie-Talkies: Walking and nature: two things well documented to inspire communication, innovation and a different way of thinking. We'll have time for walks in some of the UK's most stunning landscapes, helping inspire creativity and resilience, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving.

-
A chance to reflect: There will be plenty of time to reflect on our personal and professional journeys. We'll embark in morning meditation in the woodland, grounding us to planet earth and putting the world in perspective. At night, the support and sounding board of a group of fellow entrepreneurs and business owners will be there for those who want it as we swap stories and experience around the firepit.
"Your entire team are truly exceptional - incredibly inspiring, passionate and insightful. Each of them have left me with lots to ponder over life, business, my impact, raising kids, mindset, aspirations and a whole heap of other things my tired brain needs to reflect on!" Sugita Harichandran, Puddle Jumpers Nursery
