The Re-Gen Retreat
Bring Your Team Together | Hands-on CSR Work | Low Carbon | Company Culture & Wellbeing
3 days | 2 nights
Reconnect & rejuvenate: An immersive retreat to bring remote teams together and connected teams closer. Undertake a shared adventure, contribute to hands-on conservation work, strengthening your team culture, employee engagement and wellbeing, and demonstrate a clear planet-positive organisational commitment to your staff.
The Re-Gen Retreat is our flag-ship corporate team-building adventure, combining an immersive off-grid retreat with positive impact conservation work, nature based meditation to enhance wellbeing and a shared adventure to encourage personal growth, collaboration and employee engagement.

Set in a stunning natural landscape of wildflower meadows, ancient woodland, salt marshes and rivers, we harness the power of nature to bring you together as a team and help you fully disconnect from the noise of the everyday.

Why bring your team on a wild retreat?
Whether you're a fully office based team, hybrid, or fully remote, this business team retreat tackles a multitude of HR, CSR and company culture challenges.

There is nothing like a shared adventure to bring your people together and help enhance communication and collaboration skills; fostering creativity, resilience and employee engagement by tackling real-world challenges in an inspiring wild environment.

Time spent on woodland walks, canoeing and nature-based meditations boost morale and individual wellbeing, showing the company is prioritising personal mental health.
Hands-on conservation work increases employee engagement and retention by aligning the company culture with meaningful values and environmental stewardship. With the addition of talks and workshops on ocean plastics and/or supply chains, there is the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of sustainability and how it can be integrated into your business strategy.

The result? A wild retreat that leaves your team energised, nourished and inspired to bring agency, sustainability, creativity and change - fostering a planet positive direction for your whole organisation.

"Phone-free, off-grid and full of unexpected magic. We set camera traps, saw a goshawk flash through camp, and I saw my first ever glow worm. There was canoeing, wild swimming, invasive plant-clearing and deep chats round the fire. But this wasn’t just a jolly - it’s a place with real purpose. I’d seriously recommend it for any team wanting to rethink sustainability and get properly grounded.”
Crispin Read, The Coders Guild

Fitness expectations: This is an active retreat, but there is no requirement for previous outdoor/adventure experience. We'll undertake a variety of walks ranging from 4 - 10 kms, covering a mix of terrain such as woodland and estuary trails. There are a few hills. We will also head out in canoes (sharing the paddling) - full instruction will be given. The conservation work involves the use of hand tools to clear scrub and invasive species.

Your Bioasis team: You’ll be under the watchful eye of our experienced outdoor facilitators and wild guides who will provide professional insights and support throughout, ensuring a safe and enriching experience for all.

The Programme
Active, collaborative and hands-on
-
Outdoor Adventure: Having left our vehicles on day one, our only form of transport will be our own two feet to explore the forests and meadows of The Bioasis, as well as canoes to explore the river, salt marshes and estuary.

-
Nature immersion and hands-on conservation work: Nature is proven to de-stress and encourage diversity of thought. We’ll bring nature to life through the use of specialist biodiversity monitoring equipment, learning to track animals and contribute to on-going conservation efforts including plastic clean-ups and/or removal of invasive plant species. Through this hands-on, practical conservation work, we’ll work together as a team to have a positive effect on the environment.

-
Walkie-Talkies: Walking and nature are both well documented to inspire communication, innovation and a different way of thinking. Our stunning landscapes will help inspire creativity in your team, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving.

-
A chance to reflect and connect: There will be plenty of time to reflect on our personal and team journeys. Morning meditation in the woodland, silent sit-spots at sunset and, at night, the sharing of stories and reflections around the firepit.

"The area and the nature here are absolutely stunning, the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, approachable and informative. I felt like we could have spent weeks exploring this place and just watching the wildlife. This is an excellent choice for a team building event or just an opportunity to reconnect with nature. It's a magical place.”
Richard Wain, Vu Digital
On a mission?
An optional upgrade for private groups is our immersive, story based adventure retreat. Think escape room style challenges in 1200 acres of woodland and wildflower meadows as part of a purpose led outdoor team-building adventure...

The year is 2074. The climate change apocalypse of the 2030s and 40s means the world we call home is dying. But there is hope...
A natural paradise as survived, and your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to assemble a team, decrypt classified mission information, locate The Bioasis and undertake a team building adventure like no other.
There will be danger, wild animals, physical and mental challenges to overcome and industrialist saboteurs to avoid. But businesses have always been innovative and failure is not an option.
The very future for planet earth is at stake
